I guess I should update this thing every once and a while, eh? XD Well - new form of photos coming in, I've taken a liking to sepia and grayscale, as seen by current entries. ^^ Sadly, I don't have a big fancy camera to take good photos - but it's not always the equipment that matters, so there ya' have it! Since school has started, and with a hectic summer the previous months, not much has been added to my gallery - but I'll comb through what I've got and cough the good ones up.
Any more updates? Not much. Permit in december, AP test in march, college searching begins - DA updates, again reduced to a minimum... but perhaps not! :O
XD
Ciao!

Dancing With Jesus. A Muddled Tribute

I only knew him for a year. If that. Less than 365 days - Nick had already become a brother to me. The giant poet who always made me laugh. On August 4th of 2008, that brother - the one who made a funny voice begging for a piece of my lemon pie - left me - us - for Jesus. He was a powerful young man with a 'blow-your-mind' testimony and I loved him like a brother. He was a part of my family - no matter how little I had known him. I wish I had some fancy poem or a beautiful picture to remember him by... to give to him as tribute. But I don't. All I have to do is remember he's dancing with Jesus, and I'll be dancing to. Someday, I'll get to see him again. The brother who was taken from us to live in his eternal home. He did so much for me. For Us. For the Core. Even if he didn't know it- he was a light in the darkness and a big bear hug when you needed it. I'll miss him. But, in this jumbled mess, I will not regret the Village Inn nights and church laughs. Because he's dancing with Jesus. And I'll be one to follow.

Nick Newell died on Monday the 4th of August 2008. He ascended into heaven and for all that he's done, I will never forget him. Although I will not have a cute little photograph or a long thought-provoking poem - this is tribute enough... because It's only a tribute if you are truly dead. And nowadays - living people are more dead than the lifeless ones, because the lifeless ones have left the flesh to love their God.

I love you Nick, and I'll see you soon

We'll miss you.

16 Roses celebrating 16 years

Mi mejor amiga esta dieciseis anos! Officially she was on the seventeenth of february but... yeah... XD Happy late B-day! Since you wouldn't let me get you anything, I got you this. ^^ Sixteen roses to celebrate sixteen years- as the title proclaims. This took one hour on my knees on a granite countertop in the middle of my kitchen with a broken tripod and a half-full memory card to get sixteen good photos and 20-something bad ones! You better like them, Nee-chan! To all others- these photos are put in several different perspectives and variations- some are dark, and I can not dictate which flower blooms the best or the lighting conditions- God does that, and I'm thankful He's in charge and not me... please don't judge the flowers, judge the photos. Constructive criticism is ALWAYS welcome and flames are also welcomed- but will most likely be read and ignored. Again...
Congratulations on your sweet-sixteen, Sakashi-nee-chan!
